Ron Goodlin is a seasoned mortgage professional who has been providing his clients with mortgage solutions for over 15 years. He prides himself on his extensive market knowledge and his overall objective is to educate and keep his clients abreast of current market trends and how they relate to their financial goals.

Ron's career began at Citibank in 1995, as a loan assistant at the "grass roots" level, he gained invaluable experience and a deep understanding of the loan application process which is vital for keeping loans on-track in today's compliance-heavy mortgage environment. He successfully transitioned into sales at Citibank (1996-1998) earning President's Club honors every year and then Wells Fargo (1999-2001) where he ranked #1 in the country for Wells Fargo his last 6 months. His reputation as a trustworthy, reliable mortgage resource enabled him to exponentially develop an extensive base of loyal clients.

In 2002, Ron became co-owner and in 2003, the sole owner of Rockland Financial. Wearing several hats at Rockland, Ron recruited, trained and managed a team of 22 loan officers as well as the operations staff while overseeing marketing efforts and continuing to assist his clients with loans. He also led their expansion into commercial financing while accomplishing very impressive volume growth. Rockland Financial merged with Platinum Capital Group in 2005 . After four years of earning top producer honors at Platinum Capital, Ron embraced the opportunity to join Coast Capital Group, expanding his lending resources while continuing to provide stellar service.

An extensive mortgage background and a deep love for the business, Ron has developed a passion for keeping his finger on the pulse of the ever-changing mortgage market. Communicating up-to-date mortgage information on an on-going basis to his clients via electronic newsletters and keeping them constantly informed. Clients are educated on their options, experience a smooth process and the ultimate result is the ideal loan to meet their financial goals.

Ron is a Southern California native. He graduated from San Diego State University with a BS degree in Business. He currently resides in Hermosa Beach with his wife, Julie and their three children, Chase, Payton and Carter. He enjoys playing, watching and passionately coaching his kids in football, baseball and basketball.
