Jim Lohuis began his career in real estate finance 25 years ago. He has 20 years of bank lending experience and specializes in construction and commercial real estate financing.

This banking background allows Jim to look at a loan request through the lender’s eyes. Jim’s success is due in part to his ability to analyze and properly structure a transaction, determine the best lender(s) for the request and then present the information in the right format. “He speaks their language,” as one client puts it.

Jim is known and respected by many bankers in California. He constantly works to identify each lender’s preferences, strengths and limitations and always seeks new sources for financing.

With over over $500,000,000 in construction/development loans alone, Jim is one of the few people still active in construction financing.

Jim Lohuis graduated from Washington State University and lives in Hermosa Beach with his wife Michelle and three children James, Amalia and John.
